Shut off android clock while charging

When I charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 4, there's a clock that is on and the phone gets hot. Need to know how to shut it off so nothing is displayed when charging.

Try looking to see if you have Daydream on. Go to your settings, display, and there should be a Daydream setting. See if it is turned on.
