Does MOTO G (1st Gen) and MOT G (2nd Gen) have the same charger?

i accidentally exchanged my first gen charger with a friend who had a moto G2 , i feel somehow the USB doesnt grip that well? Or its just a fragment of my imagination?The charger works perfect and charges my phone. But a little wriggle and it gets somewhat loose. Can it be true that both phones have diff chargers?

Welcome to Android Central! No, they wouldn't have purposely different microUSB plugs. It's probably an issue with that particular cable--perhaps it got damaged previously.
