Video does not work on google play store app

[AC Question]

I have a samsung galaxy tablet. Recently when i try to watch something using the google play store, there is audio but the screen remains black. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you just trying to watch a sample video of an app? Or are you trying to watch an actual movie or TV show that you bought or rented from the Movies & TV section? If the latter, you need to open the actual Google Play Movies & TV app to watch it (not the Play Store).
