nexus 10 want stay on keeps shutting down

when you hold the power button down it vibrates then google sign appears then screen goes blank and it powers off

Welcome to Android Central! The battery might be failing. If you want to keep using the device, you may have to bring it to a repair shop to have the battery replaced. Have you already tried charging it overnight? If that doesn't work, try again with a different charging cable and wall plug.
