Format the card (it's in the recovery menu - Volume Up+Home+Power). The card should come formatted as exFAT, which is readable by the Note 3 (that's exactly the combination I'm using). If you bought a cheapie card, you might want to run SD Insight on it to make sure it's really a 64GB card. (If it was made in 1970, it's a counterfeit, since the technology isn't that old, but some counterfeiters set the date to 0, and Unix date 0 is in 1970.)
