S3 mini camera fails, standard fixes no help

[AC Question]

My s3 mini SM-G730A camera fails.(this replaces my GT-i8190 which worked fine with ST)
I tried ALL the fixes, including factory reset. When I remove Straight Talk AT&T sim card the camera works. Any ideas what is going on?

Welcome to AC.

Put the SIM back in and try Safe Mode....a third-party app may be causing trouble. Tell us what happens.

Otherwise, a new SIM may be indicated....although I'm not aware that they can cause such trouble.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Samsung told me to try the safe mode fix since it didn't work I removed all 3rd party Apps.( I didn't have many) and I just tried a new SIM just 2 days ago. Same issue. The camera will work briefly then give the warning- camera failed.

It almost seems that there is a problem between the Straight Talk SIM card(AT&T) and the phone(AT&T). Camera works without the SIM, every time.

Straight Talk said they have no answer for this problem....
