Which $200 - $250 smartphone should I buy?

A

AC Question

I'm in the market for a new smartphone and I don't want to spend more than $250. I know the Moto G (2015) is a solid choice for the money (2GB RAM version), but what about getting a Nexus 5? I've seen them new on eBay for around $205.

I want a solid screen and quick performance for gaming. I'd like a solid camera, but I know in that price range I'm not going to be getting anything spectacular.

Also I'm not trying to deal with the invite fiasco for the OnePlus Two as its out of my price range anyway.

Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! For an almost 2 year old phone, the Nexus 5 is still an excellent device. The camera is very much underrated--I've taken many excellent pictures with it. The main drawback is the mediocre battery--expect no more than 3 hours of total screen-on time, and often less than that. Hopefully Marshmallow will improve this.
