LG G4 oreginal charger problem

[AC Question]

Hi I just bought LG G4 today but after I plugged it in the charger the phone turned on and the charging icon appeared but it had suddenly disappeared and the charger stopped charging, so I had to use my Samsung galaxy 2 charger.
Is it harmful to the phone ?

If the specs of the charger are the same, it should be okay.

Same thing happened to me shortly after getting my G4. Have had consistent charging issues ever since. Frustrating. Have contacted Verizon and LG for charger replacement and the answer is always no. The first time, Verizon replaced the phone even tho it was clear that it was the charger! Easier to do that! Anyway, any charger I get, including an expensive Qualcomm 2.0 from Verizon, stops after a couple of weeks. I get the message to use the original charger that came with the phone....even when that's what I'm using. Suggestions please!!
