When my phone is connected to a small blue tooth speaker am incoming phone call no longer rings thru

When at home I connect my Samsung galaxy s5 edge to a small blue tooth speaker. When I would get a phone call I could hear the phone ringing loud enough thru the blue tooth speaker that I was able to quit missing phone calls is my phone was in another room than I was. Now all of a sudden when my phone rings, nothing comes thru the blue tooth speaker. Every button I push or anything else still sounds thru the blue tooth speaker, but not my phone ringing when I get a call. I didn't change any settings. Anybody got any ideas for this problem

Welcome to Android Central! On the phone, go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the speaker device, and make sure Phone Audio is checked on.
