Sony smartwatch 3 does not pair with my android phone

I downloaded the android wear app and when my watch starts downloading after around 5 minutes my watch pops up a screen saying"unfortunately, android wear has stopped", I keep trying but it doesnt not seem to work what can i do?

Hi and welcome to Android central.

Try a reset on the Sony. Also you could try and force the bluetooth connection in the settings rather that through wear. Just go straight to bluetooth and settings and try pairing there.
