Not understanding kies/smart switch?

[AC Question]

Hello All, I just brought a Samsung s4 not to long ago and i'm in need of help trying to get music off my kies library (new android user) onto my phone if i can (if not can someone explain how i can get it on my phone any other way) All my songs are in the library at this time i have no music on my phone i've tried to sync it but it tells me to use smart switch which dosn't help either it just backs up things. i am using a windows system
