When I type in an e mail to send , it only sends the first letter that I type and NOTHING else.

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet do you have? Is your Yahoo Mail app fully updated?

Try going to Settings>Apps, select Yahoo Mail, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open it again, log back into your Yahoo account, and try sending another email.
