How to read data from an android tablet with damaged and locked screen

A

AC Question

Hello.

I hope someone can provide guidance with this problem.

First info about the problem:
1) Manfacturer: Zif
2) Model T722G
3) Android version: N/A

Problem description: The touchscreen is completely black an unresponsible after the tablet got water inside of it, already opened by some amateur so I don´t think it can be fixed.

The device has an internal pushbutton that put it into some kind of serial debug mode, it shows MT6577 VCOM device on Windows and /tty/ACM0 on Linux

The rest of the time both Linux and windows recognize two "Linux File-CD Gadget USB devices", however no storage device appears on the explorer, and when trying to mount the /dev/sdb device on linux it doesn't work.

Reading on forums it appears as the tablet device is on locked screen mode, so that is the reason it doesn't allow to mount the devices.

This device has never connected to a computer before so I don't know if it is on mtp or ptp mode

Is there any way to read the contents of the memory (to retreive photos) maybe through the debug interface?

Any help would be appreciated.
