Cant receive text messages from only one person. they get mine but I don't get theirs

[AC Question]

We both are android users. She has an S6 and I have an S5. She just upgraded and the text stopped working before upgrading and I still can't receive her text messages with her new phone. I have pulled battery, turned off and on, all the usual fixes. I went to the cache function and that didn't solve. I don't know how to check if her phone number has been blocked or goes to spam.
