Samsun S5, Why is the Canary app notications not showing up on notification bar?

Canary app works except not showing a notification on my status bar on the home screen. Canary says Android problem...go figure.

Hi, welcome to the forums! Do you mean the Canary Smart Home Security app? If so, check the reviews on the Play Store. It seems that many users are having similar problems in different devices. I would say that there's a bug in the app and nothing wrong with your phone. I should contact the developers and see if they can fix it in the next update.
