My phone is a galaxy note 2, and I replaced the sim card reader after it supposedly stopped working, as it would not read that my card was there. It is a SGH-T889., android version 4.3 and is not rooted yet. Any help Is appreciated! Please tell me how to make my card read again.
Welcome to Android Central! It's hard for us to comment on that, because we have no idea if you might have damaged something or installed the reader incorrectly during that process.
I would go to the place that replaced the sim card reader to make sure it is correctly done. Otherwise, take it to a Samsung service center for inspection
