Can't reset LG Transpyre - it asks for the Google account and password

I bought an lg transpyre off craigslist a couple of days ago and I did a factory reset using the power buttons as the person I got it from didn't erase the data and it had a passcode. After I did the reset I was setting up the phone and it ask me for the Google account associated with the phone. I don't know the email and password and I don't have contact with the seller. Is there any work around for this? I have not been able to use it at all.

Unfortunately you are out of luck then. I would try to find the contact info of the seller, they could easily unlock it for you
