How do I access shared PC folders through a vpn from my Android phone.

Ok, so I've set up my computer as a VPN server. I've set up a connection from my Android phone to this VPN server. My Android phone currently has a key shown that it is in fact connected to the VPN. My computer shows that I do in fact have a user connected via the VPN. But... I can not for the life of me figure out how to connect to a shared folder using either ES File Explorer or Ghost Commander.

If I am home and I connect my phone to my LAN via WiFi, ES File Explorer sees all the computers on my LAN and I can copy, stream, etc with no issues.
