My HTC one M7 has recently developed a problem where the touch screen keeps having random "spasms", as if someone is pressing it rapidly around the back and home button and at the bottom of the main screen area. This means it keeps rapidly flicking between the home screen and whatever webpage/app ive got open, and then interfering with typing when the keypad is open. In addition the touchscreen goes completely non responsive when this occurs and peculiarly the phone takes a screenshot whenever i press the power button to put it on standby!
This has been an intermittent fault ive experienced for a couple of weeks now, but now its near constant to the point where ive attempted a factory reset and i can even re-enter my details into the phone. Any insight into what might be going on and how id get it repaired would be very welcome.
