Best way to send video taken from Galaxy s7?

I took a video with the VGA resolution and sent it to a friend of mine in a text and it took a while, then a message came up saying "Message Too Large". I chose the lowest resolution so it can send but still didn't.

Is there a better way to send videos to someone not in messaging? And what's the best resolution to use if you're sending the video to somebody?

When you select the share icon there should be an option for Simple Sharing. This uploads the file to a server so the recipient can download the file. That's what I use for video so it isn't degraded. It doesn't take long, and they don't need any special app to view the video.
