Ive left my phone in the rain. Now its says its overheating and wont open apps or charge properly.

Having found it in the rain, i dried it off and put it straight in some rice. At first the home button didnt work but after putting in back in the rice overnight thats ok now. After a few hours it turned itself off. On turning it back on i get the message saying its going to power down due to over heating. Any advice? Its no insured...

Welcome to the forums. Sadly, the device may be damaged beyond reasonable repair. I'm sure it could be fixed, but by the time you figure parts and labor, you may be better off buying a new device.
