how do i get pictures off phone into my coputer

I cannot transport my pictures from my phone to the computer. I have the cord but they will not transfer

Welcome to the forums! Could you give us more details about your issue? What phone do you have and which android version is it running? Does your computer recognise the phone and show your folders or is it just charging?

Make sure your cord is a data-enabled cord not just a charger cord.
Enable USB debugging in developer options. To enable developer options go to phone settings > About Phone > Build Number. Keep tapping on the build number until it says developer options enabled. Then go back to phone settings and it will show developer options.
