How do I back up my phone if I forgot my password?

I've bought a new phone a few months ago, but all my photos and videos are on my Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, that I forgot my password to. Is there a way to back up all that before a use the factory reset?

Hi, you could try connecting the phone to a laptop and manually moving the files over that way or use Android Device Manager to reset your S3 mini password.
