When I connect My Moto G3 to my PC using a USB cable, it wont show up on my PC.

I have already tried selecting the USB configuration to media Transfer Protocol (MTP) and nothing shows up on my PC. I even tried changing the USB configuration in the developer options. Still nothing is showing up on my PC. I know the USB cable is working because my phone is charging, but I can't add any files to my phone (I'm trying to add music).

There are 4 wires in a USB cable, 2 for charging and 2 for data transfer. One of the data transfer wires could be bad. Try a different cable.
