AC Question

My Galaxy S5 updated to Android 6.0 and now when I am texting or sending an email the backspace button only removes one letter. Before the update, I was able to delete the entire word by pushing backspace once. Is there a setting I can change so this function returns? Using the stock samsung keyboard app.

Long press is an unacceptable solution since you end up deleted 3 or 4 words, not the incorrectly autocorrected work only. Samsung and/or Swype have removed a feature, or introduced a bug, one. The feature of removing an entire word after an autocorrect was a very useful feature. Removing this has forced me to look at other phones that have better features, or fewer bugs!
