Request for permission must be required for sharing the phone book, anyway to force this request?

When I first paired the LG Power (L22C) to our 2015 Chevy Equinox Smart Lock ask if this device was to be trusted. I added vehicle as trusted. A request to allow vehicle to access phone-book popped up and I said “No”. As a result the vehicle can not see the phone-book. I was able to pair my LG Volt 2 and see the phone-book.
Subsequent deleting vehicle from phone and phone from vehicle always results in getting Smart Lock but never the request for permission to share the phone-book.
Tried two different Bluetooth file transfer apps, neither were able to connect to the vehicle but both were able to discover it.
The request for permission seems to be required for sharing of the phone-book. Anyway to force this request to be made again?

Ask a Chevy service department to reset the radio so that it re-asks for the phone book.
