My new moto g mobile's net is very slow..I cannot use play store properly..what should I do

I just received my moto G last week and I found the play store taking a long time to load. It's net is very slow.I thought there was net connection problem and decided to try later but faced the same problem every time. I noticed I could not download any app.
Please help me with this problem
