Why is my tablet discharging when I plug it in?

[AC Question]

I plugged my Amazon Fire tablet in last night and it was at 30% when I went to sleep. Then, this morning, i unplugged it and I had to do that trick where you press the volume button along with the power button to turn it on. When it turned on it was at 1% and shut off. IM SO MAD PLZ HELP ME!

Try using another cable and charger.
