USB Options Not Showing

[AC Question]

I have a LG G5 and a Macbook Pro. I set my phone to charging only the first time I plugged my phone into my computer, so that's what it does. But now I want to transfer files. When I pull down my notification bar, it says my phone is charging and does not give me the option to change that. I am using the cord that I bought my phone with, so that isn't the problem. When I go into settings and Storage/USB, it only shows my storage with no USB options.
