How do i get my ZTE speed to stop sending multiple texts

I sent a text to my daughter and it ended up sending it twenty three times and other people are complaining about the same text they just keep getting how do i stop this before everyone gets mad at me

I would try to backup data and clear cache and app data on the messaging app
