Is an app or popup displaying this message to you? Is it Motorola itself that's contacting you?

I would take this message with a grain of salt, as it may be malware.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I can comment on this, but I would sit tight and not do anything yet.

Welcome to Android Central! That's a bogus warning that's trying to lure you into installing a useless and/or malicious app from the Play Store. DO NOT INSTALL THE APP IT'S SUGGESTING.

Does this only appear when you're browsing? If so, it's likely a popup ad associated with the website you're visiting--avoid that site. If it happens when you're not browsing, then you may have installed some adware alongside some other app--uninstall apps one by one until this goes away.
