Brand new S7 edge - Wifi won't turn on in the initial setup, nor after setup

If I try to enable the wifi, it just says "turning on" for roughly a minute and then reverts back to the previous screen where the wifi isn't connected.

Brand new phone, tried another full reset on the phone, same issue

Any ideas?

If it is new, why fight with it, take it back and replace it with one that works.
