I have a Polaroid Android Tablet and Wi-Fi stuck on "turning on"

Just lately, my tablet is having trouble connecting to wi-fi in my home and I haven't changed anything. It seems to be stuck on "turning on".

Welcome to Android Central! Does this persist after a reboot? How about in Safe Mode? On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.
