Rooted Samsung Galace2 won't go into recovery

I like the size and function of the Samsung Galaxy Ace II so I recently rooted it so I could remove the bloatware. Phone works fine most of the time but then it has MONUMENTAL lags when that take 1-2 minutes to access my camera, or dialer.

I want to wipe the hold cache partition but when I hold the "Home"+"Volume Up"+"Power" button I just get a black screen. If I let go of the power button the phone starts up normally.

Any thoughts on how I wipe the phone? Cheers!

It appears that you blew the recovery partition when you rooted it - which probably means a rooting method that doesn't actually work on that ROM. Flash the stock ROM (see [Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN) and leave it alone. (Back everything up first, though - you'll lose everything by flashing a ROM. See Backing up an Android Device.)
