calls people, turns music on, etc. Also, when on Facebook I do not have the option of posting cute emojies. There is not a button on the phone to allow this option. I broke my previous phone and this is what my insurance plan said was comprable. Samsung Galaxy 5, I think not

What happened that caused these bugs? Was there an update? Did you install some new apps? Was there any physical damage to the device?

Have you tried booting the device in safe mode to rule out a buggy app?

Welcome to Android Central! I agree with Safe Mode. If the problems persist in Safe Mode, then it's either a problem with the firmware or the hardware. In either of those cases, you should ask your insurance plan for another replacement.
