camera not listed in settings/apps

[AC Question]

I'm trying to clear the camera cache on my BLU Selfie Android phone because every camera timer I install crashes ("unfortunately such and such has stopped") I figured if I clear the original Android camera cache, the problem might disappear. The camera on the phone works just fine, however, when I go into settings/apps...NO camera listed. This appears to be just about the only app not on the list. Any ideas?
