Galaxy S6 broken screen information retrieval

Can I retrieve information off my Galaxy S6? The screen has gone black, all the soft resets and every other method of resetting has been done. I can just see broken colour on the screen in a very small part, so am pretty confident the screen is damaged. If need be a replacement screen, but they are so expensive. The phone is on lock via the screen, so if anyone can help out I would be so grateful. I have pictures of my kids and tx's I really want to retrieve.
