I have the Verizon stand up charger, I can't get it to start charging.

Since it was so slow i took it back to the store and they put a padding on the bottom to boost the phone up. It still takes literally all day to charge. Now it is saying charging 0% and there is nothing I can do about it? Is there a fix or should I take it back?

Go to Settings/General/battery, or run Ampere, so you can see the charging. (Ampere is slow, so move, wait a couple of seconds, move, etc.)

Move the phone around on the stand until you see the charge go up (or "charging" appears in Settings). A Qi phone/charger pair have to be aligned in order to charge. If the phone's coil isn't right over the charger's coil - no charging. (Which is why I prefer a stand that has an LED of some sort indicating when the phone is "charging". It's actually indicating that the phone's coil is drawing current from the charging stand and unless something's broken, that means that the phone is charging.)
