How can I make Quick Pic my default gallery and save all my media to my SD card?

I have the HTC10 and I'm really not keen on the Google photos app. I have found Quick Pic app but I can't seem to make it the default app for the camera. Also my phone isn't working properly since the OS 7 update.

Also forgot to say that when I'm using the camera I can't see the picture I have just taken. I have to come out of the camera and into Quick Pic app

I know it's been awhile since you asked this, but were you able to figure this out? I'd like to make QuickPic the default app also so I don't have to back out of my Pixel 2 Camera app every time I want to go into my gallery.

I've tried checking the option in the QuickPik settings to make it the default, but it doesn't work and won't let me.

Any and all info is truly appreciated.

Open Camera, go in settings, select SD card to save to. Change the setting so that you can view the pic after taking it, it's an option.
