Is it possible to rewrite the mft on my sd card?

Deleted some apps that were on the sd card. Just to be sure everything cleared from memory, I shut down and restarted my galaxy s4. The sd card has not been recognized since. I do get the message to format the card. Chkdsk tells me both copies of the table are corrupt. I am running testdisk on it now. EaseUS deep scanned and found all my data. I am having trouble find an app that will rewrite an exFAt file table.

Using a card reader, your computer should be able to reformat the card with the needed file system.
