LG Aristo wifi connect (public) issues

[AC Question]

Just got an Aristo (model LGMS210) today, and I cant connect to the wifi at my work. Its not a password protected signal, as its meant for customers, the kind that prompts you to sign in with a name and email yada yada (like starbucks for instance). My other phone I had yesterday automatically opened the sign in page upon connecting to the signal... This Aristo will do no such thing. No auto promt, cant even go to google.com to try and get redirected to the internal sign in page. I cant find anything in the phones settings that does anything about it. Is there something im not seeing?

Welcome to Android Central! Did you ever disable a system app called CaptivePortalLogin? If so, re-enable it. If you didn't disable it, then go to Settings>Apps, select it, and Clear Cache/Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

OP here. I dont seem to have that app when i search under settings>apps...

When you go to Settings>Apps, tap the Menu button and then Show System. Now see if it shows up.

Ok I found it. It wasn't disabled, but I force stopped it. In off work now and won't be back till Monday, so ill try again then.

While you're at it, clear the cache and data from that app.

Tried it today. Cleared the data and cache of the app. Still won't open any sign in page for the public wifi.

Samething is happening to me. I didn't even have a choice with this stupid phone!
