My phone is not rooted, but the bootloader is UNLOCKED (for sure!).
I'm trying to install a custom recovery, but am getting this message:

FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)

Why? Do I really need to root my phone in order to install a custom recovery?
Or how else could I solve this problem?

I met this problem too.At the first time I used Ubuntu-16.04 to operate my phone(Huawei g750-t01), but it failed though it can detect my phone. Then I switch to Windows do the same thing, it's no doubt that the command failed again. Finally I install HiSuite and it worked magically:eek: It seems that it is drive problem.
