My Samsung Galaxy A5's screen flickers sometime. What can I do to stop it?

There are times when the screen begins to flicker. I don't mean that it turns on and off I mean that it glitches in a flickering manner. And it does not always happen all over the screen. Sometimes it happens only at the top or at the bottom. There was even a time when the screen flickered a yellowish colour and I had to restart the phone to stop it. But it keeps happening.

I tried taking out the SD card, and it reduced the flickering. Now it only happens on the Facebook app.

Well done. SD cards can cause trouble. Why the trouble persists when using Facebook, I don't know. It may still be a hardware problem, or just a corrupt file somewhere.
