Why wont my lg go past the lg start up screen

[AC Question]

Tried removing battery. Tried to reboot phone 4 times .
Held the on button 30 sec. Nothing. Getting frustrated. Have kids . Need my phone desperately. Can't afford another right now . Please Help

Which LG is it, and is it still under warranty?
Worst case scenario, it might need a piece of hardware replaced.
If it's still under warranty, LG might fix it for free.
But you won't have a phone during this period.
And if it is out of warranty it might be cheaper to get another phone, even if it's a used one.
