My Lenovo vibe is having charging and sim detection issues

My Lenovo vibe is just 1 year old, all of a sudden the battery is draining much faster, it does not charge unless the phone is switched off, and now it isn't detecting either of the SIMs. I cannot make or receive calls! Can anyone help me figure this out?

Welcome to Android Central! Does this persist in Safe Mode? How to turn on safe mode on Lenovo Vibe X2. If so, then chances are it's a hardware problem. Is the phone still under warranty?

Thanks for your reply. I bought the phone March 2016, so I guess it is out of warranty. Its uncanny how the problem started soon after a year was over! I tried Safe Mode as you suggested, but it isnt charging. The charging symbol flashes on and off, but the percentage does not increase. Added to that, the SIMs are not being detected. I guess I will have to take it in to Lenovo service. Thanks again!
