Welcome to Android Central! What's the brand and model name/number? Did it come with any documentation at all? These off-brand or no-name Android TV boxes are prone to firmware and hardware failure due to poor quality control, and have little to no support, so I would return it for a refund. If you want to enjoy Android apps on your TV, try using a Chromecast instead -- it's much cheaper and more reliable.
