Uploading photos from camera

My camera uploads to my laptop through a usb to hdmi. I have a dock on order and it should be here next week. Will I be able to upload my photo to my Transformer through the hdmi port like I do in my laptop or am I going to have to figure out something different? Thanks!

No hard facts here, but my gut says no. Here is to hoping I am wrong.

The USB ports on the xformer support what I believe is called the PTP protocol for cameras. Pretty much any digital still camera should automatically pop up in the gallery when plugged in via USB. I've verified this with my Nikon DSLR and a Canon point and shoot powershot
