Anyone know how to overclock once rooted?

That's easy. go into settings > cyanogenmod settings > performance (hope that's the sequence, the device is not in front of me). You have to click the OK tab stating that you know you could mess things up. Then click the max speed tab and change it to 1200 (read there is general stability with that setting) and then check the boot box and you're done.

I had a feeling it was new. I had no idea that I had a unicorn. :)

Software version: 1.4.0
Model number: BNTV250

I bought it from the local B&N a week ago today.

I will try FroYo booting from the Micro SD as an experiment, but I've got a sinking suspicion it won't work. I guess that I could purchase a 4th Micro SD card to try that as well.

Also, I am able to access the card after the NC boots normally. Is this ability to access the card also, a signal that it would work for the booting process as well? That's what's confusing me.

Thanks, Phil

I could be wrong, but I believe the model number you are using is for a Nook Tablet. If, in fact, you have a tablet then its no wonder the instructions you are using for rooting a Nook Color will not work.....:(
