Back Camera Won't Work after Installing Replacement Camera (from Ebay) in device, how can I get it working?

I bought a replacement back camera from Ebay and I've successfully connected it to the phone's motherboard.

Now I'm trying to open the Camera application and when I try to switch to the back camera, there is no image loading and there is a beeping sound every ~30 seconds and usually after 2 minutes, the application closes by itself and prompt me to my main screen.

Can anyone help me out here?
Is the replacement camera I just bought broken, cheap and unusable or what?
