Why is my Samsung stuck on a white screen?

my samsung is stuck on a white screen?

my samsung galaxy fame is stuck on a white screen with lines across it? I can still somehow pick up calls by interpeting where the buttons are but I can't seem to do anything to get it back to its normal state. Tried taking out battery and holding down all buttons. Please help !!

Welcome to Android Central! The screen has probably failed, although there's a chance it's just a loose connection. Any recent falls, trauma or water exposure? You'll probably have to bring it to a repair shop.
